CLA Healthcare is a partnership between the CLA and Howden Employee Benefits. We have been providing independent and impartial advice to members for over 15 years.

We are CLA’s trusted advisers and work with its members – both individual and business members – to find the right healthcare insurance solutions and wellbeing services for their needs and budget.  Our market insight, reputation and strong insurer relationships mean that we are well placed to not only source healthcare products from the wider market but we are also able to partner with certain specialist insurers in the healthcare sector and agree special terms and benefits on certain products that we can offer to CLA members and which we believe are unique in the wider market.

Service excellence is at the heart of what we do. We pride ourselves on it and our clients expect it. It’s why we have a 96% retention rate over the last 3 years. And as a regulated business, we are duty bound to treat our clients fairly and to ensure that we provide impartial, appropriate and clear advice. We have a number of measures in place to help us maintain our high standards of service, including:

• We have introduced a dedicated helpline for members to call our advisers directly. Calls are recorded & regularly reviewed for quality control
• We take the quality of our staff very seriously and we work hard to ensure that they have the right experience, ongoing training, tools, technical skills and support to help them provide you with a professional and friendly service.
• We hold regular meetings with CLA to ensure that the proposition delivered to their members remains appropriate and valued
• We are always looking at how we can develop new solutions tailored to suit members’ changing needs.  For example, we are currently looking at how we can better support members’ on the challenging theme of mental health.
• CLA conduct member satisfaction surveys on the service that their Partners provide
• Our business values are included within all employee performance reviews and embedded within our behaviours.
